 First session of the new legislature / Leaders of 4 religious faiths also

This Friday afternoon, the swearing-in ceremony of the new deputies was held in the Albanian Parliament.

During the plenary session, 138 out of the 140 deputies required by the Constitution were sworn in. This was after two deputies from the PSD, Tom Doshi and Sabina Jorgo, announced their resignations.

Meanwhile, the election of the new Speaker of Parliament is also scheduled on the agenda.

Today's plenary session marks the start of a new legislature, and given this importance, the leaders of the four religious faiths in the country are also present.

Present, as seen in the photo, are: Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania, His Holiness Joani, World Patriarch of Bektashism, Haxhi Baba Dede Edmond Brahimaj, Head of the Muslim Community of Albania, Bujar Spahiu, and Head of Catholics Archbishop Arjan Dodaj. /CNA
