"Revolutionary" Ilir Meta(j) under investigation by SPAK/ EU

The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, who warned of a revolution by the start of September, has reacted again to the Durrës port project.

Meta welcomes the position of the EU delegation for clarity and transparency regarding the agreement with the Arab company.

"I welcome the position of the Delegation of the European Union in Albania regarding the project of the Port of Durrës and I share the same concerns, expressed earlier, regarding the need for transparency.

Albania and Durrës need serious strategic investors and well-consulted decisions with citizens, civil society and experts, in respect of the Constitution, state sovereignty over strategic infrastructure, the principles of competition, the obligations stemming from the Stabilization and Association Agreement and the Berlin Process" , writes Meta on social networks.

According to him, ignoring these very important obligations and principles of the functioning of a legal state, aiming for EU membership, means that the only interest of this corrupt and incriminated Government is for another affair behind which a mega-theft and money laundering.
