The prosecution confirmed Irena Gjoka's conviction/ KLGJ: We have not

The High Judicial Council has reacted regarding the sentencing of Judge Irena Gjoka and the letter sent by the Democratic Party this afternoon.

In its response, the Supreme Court of Justice announces that no official document has arrived at the institution's address.

Furthermore, the Supreme Court of Justice says that as soon as the letter from the General Prosecutor's Office officially arrives confirming the conviction of special judge Irena Gjoka in the Greek state, all appropriate legal steps will be taken.

 

" Regarding today's announcement by the General Prosecutor's Office regarding the decision to approve the results of the in-depth verification of the declarations made in the Self-Declaration Form dated 22.04.2016, for the subject Irena Gjoka (Shpata, Maneku), judge at the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime, I would like to inform you that as of 20:30 on 20.01.2026, no official document has been received at the KLGJ address. As soon as the letter from the General Prosecutor's Office officially arrives, it will be administered by the Career Development Commission at the KLGJ, and then the relevant legal procedure will be followed. Thank you!" , the announcement states.
