The scandal that involved the directors of the Tirana Municipality of Erion Veliaj with the scheme of stealing millions of euros through tenders, as well as with the affair of the incinerators, has caused great anger among the citizens.

Citizens have held dozens of protests in front of the Municipality of Tirana, while they have organized another one this Wednesday.

The protest is expected to take place at 11:00. This is the 27th in a row, since April 5, when successive protests began.

The call of the citizens is the resignation of Veliaj and accountability before justice.

The protests were organized by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater, while they were supported by the opposition./ CNA
