The Deputy of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, says that the opposition is determined not to allow normality in the plenary sessions since the majority has decided to eliminate the opposition.

In an appearance for the media, he also listed the reasons that, according to him, show that the opposition is not being allowed to carry out its activities properly.

Bardhi says that the opposition wants normal coexistence in the plenary session and for this the Constitution must not be violated.

"First, the Speaker of the Assembly should stop interfering in the internal affairs of the Democratic Party. To allow the opposition MPs to appoint the representatives they wish to the Parliamentary Commissions without dictation from the majority. Çuçi said that the Electoral Reform is a political issue, not a citizen issue. Why do they want to change parliamentary practice? Because we do not want the opposition in the Electoral Reform. This is a right of the opposition. The 43 opposition MPs should be allowed to exercise control over the government. They cannot tear the Constitution of the Republic of Albania. They cannot hinder the opposition. It cannot prevent the opposition from investigating the decision-making. If parliament is to function normally, opposition MPs must be allowed to do their work. The majority has decided to annihilate the opposition, we are determined not to allow normality in plenary sessions. We want to have normal coexistence in the plenary session. My appeal is for the colleagues of the majority," said Bardhi./ CNA
