Weekend weather/IGJEUM: Rain and snow in some areas, temperatures drop

The Institute of Geosciences has today shared a forecast for the weather situation for this weekend.

According to meteorological data, this weekend will be mainly accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity according to the regions.

It is also expected that there will be snowfall in areas with altitudes over 700 meters above sea level.

Also, the weekend is expected to see lower temperatures compared to last week.

Precipitation:

This afternoon (Friday, November 28) and tomorrow (Saturday, November 29) light to locally moderate rainfall is expected in the Fier and Vlora regions, accompanied by local thunderstorms. Light rainfall is expected in other regions.

In the North and East, at altitudes above 700 m above sea level, precipitation will be in the form of snow.

Temperature:

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

on the coast: 8 / 13 °C

in lowlands: 5 / 13 °C

in mountainous areas: 1 / 8 °C

Wind:

This afternoon and tomorrow, the wind is expected to blow light to moderate. /CNA
