Meta breaks the silence/ Talks about the arrest of Malltez and the charges

The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has broken his silence and commented on the arrest of Jamarbër Malltez and the accusations against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

According to Meta, this is an indictment filed by Prime Minister Edi Rama, since justice is captured by the government's number one.

"Regarding the first question regarding the attitudes towards Mr. Berisha, I would like to once again express my regret for this slide, which is not unexpected from the so-called new justice which comes above the constitution, the parliament and the convention of human rights. We know that it is an indictment from Rama. It is an indictment from the person who has taken responsibility to change the destination. His name does not appear in the incinerators. It tries to use certain prosecutors and judges in order to hit the real opposition and defocus the public opinion on million-dollar affairs for the port", said Meta.  / CNA
