President Bajram Begaj, in his speech at the Enthronement ceremony of His Beatitude Joan, stated that His Enthronement marks a new chapter in the spiritual life of our country.

Begaj stated that Archbishop Joan will not be alone in this mission but will have the full support of the Church, the believers, and the state.

"Today is a historic day for the Autocephaly of the Orthodox Church. The enthronement marks a new chapter in the spiritual life of our country that begins with hope and responsibility. I express my deep gratitude to Archbishop Anastasios, who for decades served with wisdom and dedication, giving the church strength, light and a very valuable heritage. The church is not only a religious institution but a guiding and protective guardian of the spiritual and cultural values ??of the country.
