The Director General of the State Police, Madhor Muhamet Rrumbullaku, received in an introductory meeting, the ambassador of Italy in Albania, Fabrizio Bucci, who was accompanied by the leaders of the Italian Interforce in Albania.

The General Director of Police thanked the ambassador for the visit, the contribution and the support given by him to the State Police. He introduced the ambassador to the standards he seeks to establish, to have a new approach to citizens, to the fight against organized crime and crime in general.

Drejtori i Policisë e garantoi ambasadorin se bashkëpunimi mjaft i mirë i deritanishëm do të thellohet akoma më tej, për të luftuar me më efikasitet krimin e organizuar, trafiqet e paligjshme, kultivimin dhe trafikimin e lëndëve narkotike. 

Shtimi i grupeve hetimore të përbashkëta, shkëmbimi i informacionit në kohë reale, duke eliminuar çdo pengesë apo burokraci, si dhe zhvillimi i operacioneve të përbashkëta me Policinë italiane, janë mënyrat e duhura për të arritur rezultate më të mira.

Prioritare për Policinë e Shtetit janë edhe reformimi i Akademisë së Sigurisë sipas modelit të Akademisë së Sigurisë të Italisë dhe forcimi i strukturave për hetimin e krimeve kibernetike.

Ambassador Fabrizio Bucci congratulated the new General Director of the State Police for his position and assured him of the support of the embassy and the Italian Police, for deepening cooperation in the future, to best fulfill the common mission, the fight without compromise against organized crime, cybercrime and terrorism. Bucci emphasized that it is now time to achieve better results on the part of the State Police.
