An earthquake was recorded in the early hours of this Wednesday morning in Albania.

Specifically, the tremors were felt around 2:42 a.m. and had a magnitude of 4.6.

The epicenter was in the Adriatic Sea, 48 kilometers northwest of Tirana, 35 kilometers northwest of Durrës.

According to the seismological site EMSC, the depth of the earthquake waves was 6.5 kilometers.

The tremors were felt in several cities of Albania, while so far no injuries or material damage have been reported./ CNA
