"Lajthit" Bido mocks the murder in Rinas: Mafia assassinations happen

An assassination attempt yesterday at the Rinas roundabout, where Gilmando Dani was killed and Muçi Shaljani was seriously injured, has shocked the country. Ironically, the execution in one of the most populated places in Tirana, a few meters from Rinas airport, occurred a few hours after Defense Minister Albana Koçiu declared that security in the country has increased significantly.

But the stupidity of such statements does not stop with the minister. Socialist MP Ardit Bido, in a television appearance, tried to minimize the event that could result in not one or two, but several victims, given that there is a lot of movement in that area at all hours of the day.

According to Bido, a hail of more than 50 bullets in broad daylight is something that happens in any country in the world. According to him, this mafia crime should not call into question the "fact" that Albania is a safe country.

"It is definitely a safe place. Coming from a serious event to this question, it seems like we have no emotions. It is definitely an event that needs to be investigated. We are dealing with a murder at a key point, of a well-known character in the underworld. It needs to be investigated and individuals need to be brought to justice. But we should not directly put the question in front of us. Such mafia murders happen in every country in the world. Even in America, mafia murders have occurred. As long as organized crime exists, there will be such murders," Bido said. /CNA
