The new court map risks turning into a handicap in the justice system.

Lawyers have already boycotted the court hearings in protest.

But, according to the president of the HJC, Naureda Llagami, this is happening because there is a lack of judges.

"Those who deal with the courts know that some courts had 4 judges, who did not meet the legal criteria. Even those with 5 did not realize that 7 judges are needed in the First Instance. The law said that in addition to this criterion, you should also take into account indicators.

Shqetësimi për gjykatën e Apelit Administrativ e kemi të gjithë. Kemi kërkuar rritje të numrit të gjyqtarëve. Që kur filloi ligji për implementimin tregoi se u kalua një çështje që nuk ishte e kësaj gjykate. Edhe gjykimi i specializuar nuk dështon. Nuk mund të specializojmë gjyqtarë në gjykata të vogla. Nuk mund të jetë efektiv", ka thënë Llagami sot në Komisionin e Ligjeve.
