The Deputy Prosecutor of the Korça Judicial District, Ilia Bano, passed away.

It is learned that Bano lost the battle with a serious illness at the age of 66.

Family members and relatives will bid farewell to Prosecutor Bano in the Tufina cemetery tomorrow.

Ilia Bano has served in the judiciary for 45 years, while working as a Prosecutor in several districts of the country.

Recall that the prosecutor, along with some of his colleagues, were fired by former Chief Prosecutor Ina Rama after an inspection conducted in the prosecution.

During the time he was outside the doors of the Prosecution, he practiced as a lawyer.

Bano was returned to the Prosecutor's Office by Adriatik Llalla, following the decision of the High Court for his reinstatement. He was already acting Deputy Prosecutor of the Korça Judicial District./BA - CNA.al
