The head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has expressed confidence that in the local elections on May 14, 2023, 61 municipalities will win.

 " As we have made an assessment of how the reform has progressed so far, we have reached some conclusions that will answer the question of whether the country now needs a new division. We all agree that some of those proposals are not considered. I am receiving the proposal you made for the municipality of Lunik. We have to start from some principles and I think that the basic principle would have been "Has there been a municipality before?"

This would disqualify some proposals. Splitting Vlora into 3 parts does not seem like a proposal that makes sense. But that is not the point. DP has governed in 17 municipalities from 2015-2019. The SP governs today in 60 municipalities and we want to win these 60 municipalities again, maybe 61. Yes, yes, we are ready to win all 61. We will also win Shkodra since the one in Foltores failed, " said Balla./ CNA.al
