The new territorial division "goes down" the Parliament/ Opposition

In today's plenary session, the reports of the Special Parliamentary Committee "On Administrative-Territorial Reform in the Republic of Albania" will be discussed.

We remind you that the SP, as the head of the parliamentary group Tau;ant Balla announced, has requested that the number of municipalities not change, that is, to remain at 61 municipalities and 12 districts.

The official DP has proposed 97 municipalities, while the group of dissidents in the DP has proposed 94 municipalities. 

They have requested that 2 municipalities are added in Berat district, 4 in Dibër, 2 in Durrës, 3 in Elbasan, 4 in Fier district, 5 new municipalities are added to Korça, 2 to Kukës, 4 to Lezhë and 4 new municipalities to Vlora.

While the District of Tirana, according to them, should have 3 more Municipalities, Farkë, Dajt and Kashar./ CNA.al
