An official of Ukrainian military intelligence has confirmed that Marianna Budanova, the wife of the head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, has been poisoned and is being treated in a hospital, writes The Guardian.
Her poisoning was reported earlier by Ukrainian media, which cited unidentified intelligence sources.
"Yes, I can confirm the information, unfortunately, it is true," Andriy Yusov, an official at the GUR military intelligence agency, told Reuters.
Budanova, who is an adviser to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, was reportedly hospitalized after her condition worsened./ CNA
