40 protests have been held against the socialist mayor, Erion Veliaj, in front of the Tirana City Hall.

Official sources from the Democratic Party told CNA that the protests against Erion Veliaj will not stop.

Even though he was called to SPAK twice, even though his family members are being investigated, in January the protests will resume again in front of Tirana City Hall with new scenarios.

The sources have emphasized that the protests will not stop until the departure of Veliaj.

These protests have started since April 5, 2024, after the arrest of the directors of the Municipality of Tirana for the "5D" file and will continue./ CNA
