Today is the second day of tributes being held for Archbishop Anastasios.

Believers and citizens gathered at the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Tirana, where the Archbishop's body was received to honor his memory and works.

The Archbishop's body arrived in Tirana on Tuesday afternoon.

The Orthodox believing people of Albania welcomed the late Archbishop Anastasios yesterday, all the way from the Albanian border, initially in Kakavija, then to the Cathedral of the Resurrection in Gjirokastra, where he was received by the clergy of the metropolitanate.

At the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Tirana, in addition to the participation of the entire Holy Synod, clergy and believers from all metropolitanates gathered to welcome the restorer of the Church and the Hierarch who, with his magnificent and God-inspired work, inspired and united many hearts and peoples, leaving them an immortal legacy.
