Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha said that if he had accepted the co-governance agreement with Edi Rama today, he would not be non grata and his son-in-law would not be in prison either.
But signing that agreement according to Berisha was like signing to destroy the nation.
At the meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party, Berisha said that Edi Rama still failed after 600,000 Albanians voted for the opposition.
"Basha sold the elections and sent his men to take Berisha's bridge for co-government. If I had accepted that agreement that day, today I would not be non grata, I would not have my son-in-law in prison. This Pazar with Edi Rama would be the death of the opposition, signing to destroy the nation. I could never make such a compromise. Rama contracted McGonigal, who today is declared guilty for the Albanian file. The evidence for non hgrata toime comes from Edi Rama, Lulzim Brava and George Soros' media. This time, by a court decision, the opposition was denied the right to use its logo on the ballot, it was forbidden to write the name of Sali Berisha on the ballot, with the aim of destroying the identity. Edi Rama failed again after 600,000 Albanians voted for the opposition," Berisha said./ CNA
