59 kg of cocaine hidden in coal/ SPAK releases the crew of the ship "Unistream"

SPAK has released the crew of the ship that was seized about two months ago in the Port of Durrës, inside which 59 kg of cocaine were found inside the coal.

The crew consists of Russian, Filipino and Ukrainian citizens, who can leave Albania after leaving the cells.

We recall that the ship "Unistream" docked on May 16 in the port of Durrës, as it previously stopped in the port of Barranquilla in Colombia. She had left the port of Barranquilla in Colombia on April 26 and arrived at the eastern quay of the Port of Durrës on May 16.

The ship with a Russian captain was transporting 6500 tons of coal from Colombia to our country. A detailed inspection showed that there were 53 packages of drugs weighing 59 kg in the ship's hold. The drugs are suspected to have been loaded into Colombia. / BA – CNA.al
