25 thousand files in the stock of the Supreme Court/ Sadushi: I am optimistic

The head of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, has revealed that there are about 25,000 files in the stock of the Supreme Court.

Sadushi said in an interview with Anila Hoxha that despite the high number of stock, he is optimistic.

This is after the head of the Supreme Court emphasized that the institution he leads is working with a full number of judges.

"The stock of the Supreme Court is high. Starting from the moment when we started the task in 2020 that we found 36 thousand files, we are already quite optimistic because this number has decreased significantly and reached about 25 thousand.

Considering that the Supreme Court has not been functional in its entirety with judges, but has been partially and from year to year has been filled, we have already reached the full number of 18 judges. This significant decrease is to be taken into consideration, because it shows the trend that at this rate maybe in a few years we will have a very pronounced decrease in the number", he said./ CNA
