20 candidates for the head of AMP/ Balla: Within this week, Ardi Veliu's replacement will be chosen

On the 23rd, Ardi Veliu resigned from the post of General Director of the Police Supervision Agency.

Until now, we still do not have a name for the person who will replace Veliu in this post.

When a month has passed since Veli's resignation, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, said that the process of selecting the new head of the AMP has been completed.

Balla announced that 20 candidates had expressed interest and from these 5 people were selected and within this week one of them will be proposed as the head of AMP.

"I also want to share with you the news that we have completed the process of selecting the new leader of AMP. This is a process that the Ministry of the Interior... has never been an open process before. 20 candidates competed. We have drawn a list of 5 candidacies and I believe that within this week we will finalize them, we will propose the new deputy to the Prime Minister", the minister emphasized./ CNA
