This Friday, the Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office, Engjëll Agaçi, was dismissed from his post.
Agaçi was appointed to this position on September 15, 2013, thus exercising this function for 13 consecutive years.
Agaçi was born in Fier, on February 15, 1969.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of "Tor Vergata" in Rome, where he practiced the profession of Lawyer for many years.
He subsequently worked as a researcher in Comparative Public International Law, culminating in his doctorate at the University of "La Sapienza" in Rome, where he received the title of Doctor of Science.
On October 17, 2015, the General Council of the Norman Academy in Italy awarded him the honorary title "Honorary Academician".
On June 2, 2023, the President of the Republic of Italy, H.E. Sergio Mattarella, awarded him the title of "Knight of Merit of the Republic of Italy".
Agaci is one of the officials summoned to SPAK for several issues, including the incinerator affair and the National Agency for the Protection of the Environment./CNA
