TikTok tests 60-minute videos / A challenge for YouTube

One of the most popular apps for short and precise videos, TikTok, is planning to expand its horizons by testing the possibility of uploading videos that last for hours.

This update may challenge other platforms like Youtube, which has also prompted criticism from users.

Until now, TikTok has been where users shared short videos, up to 3 minutes, but now the app is experimenting with allowing 60-minute videos.

However, opponents have expressed skepticism, saying that most of them would not be interested in watching long videos on this platform.

While the long video option is available to a limited number of users, other details still remain unclear.

This innovation could pave the way for a wider range of content on TikTok, including full episodes of TV shows.
