Unsurprisingly, this has massive consequences, giving way to new victories and conditions.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

While FF7 Rebirth's 'open world' exploration still leaves a lot to be desired, the RPG shines in its story and cast of wonderful characters. The well-known saying may be 'it's the journey, not the destination', but here, it's the other way around. If you can get past the frustrating time spent traversing the map, what awaits you in terms of quests, lore, characters - both main and side - and emotional beats is well worth it.
