Lucky draw/Egnatia, difficult opponents for Dinamo

The draw for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League was made today at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, where Egnatia has learned its potential opponent if it manages to successfully pass the second round.

The Albanian champions, who secured a historic qualification after a convincing victory over Petrocub, will first face Slovenian side NK Celje in the second qualifying round of the competition.

According to the draw made by UEFA, the winner of the Egnatia – NK Celje match will face the winner of the FC Ararat-Armenia – Shamrock Rovers FC match in the third round.

Meanwhile, even if eliminated by the Slovenian team, the Albanian champions will continue their European journey. Egnatia would advance to the third qualifying round of the Europa League, where they would face the loser of the Ararat Armenia – Shamrock Rovers match.

The first leg of the second round between Egnatia and NK Celje will take place on July 22 at "Arena Egnatia", at 21:00, while the return leg will be played a week later in Slovenia.

Dinamo City have also learned the name of their potential opponent in the third round of the Conference League. In the draw made at noon today in Nyon, the Albanian team learned that they will face the winner of the FCSB – Auda pair, if they manage to eliminate the Slovenians NK Aluminij in the second round.

The team led by Ilir Daja will play the first match against NK Aluminij on the road, on July 23, starting at 20:00, while the return match will take place on July 30, at 21:00, at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium.

If they qualify, Dinamo City will face the winner of the FCSB – Auda tie. The first leg of the third round is scheduled to be played on August 6, while the return leg is scheduled for August 13.
