Figures reveal how much the Albanian Football Association invested in

The Football Federation has implemented one of the largest historical investment programs in sports infrastructure this season, with a total of approximately 8.5 million euros spent on various projects across the country.

The invested fund is focused on the construction and reconstruction of stadiums, the construction of new fields, the improvement of existing infrastructure, as well as important interventions within the framework of the UEFA U-17 European Championship that took place in Albania in May-June 2025.

Among the most important projects in which the Albanian Football Association has invested during this year are the “Egnatia” stadium in Rrogozhina, the Vora and Besa stadiums in Kavaja, as well as the stadiums in Gramsh and Përmet. In addition, reconstructions of fields have been carried out in Elbasan (the “Shefqet Lamçja” sports complex), Korça, Kruja, Gjirokastër and Durrës.

As part of the "100 Fields" project, during this season two new fields were built in the premises of the Football House, the training field of the "Dinamo City" complex in Arbëna was inaugurated, and several social projects were implemented in support of the "Different Weekend" initiative and in the "Shna Prenda" Parish in Shkodër.

Also, a new field has been inaugurated in collaboration with the "Soccer Star" academy in Shtoj, Shkodra, while new fields are in the process of being built in Gjirokastër, Prrenjas and Librazhd.

Of this total investment amount, over 6.2 million euros were financed directly by the Albanian Football Association, while the rest was carried out in collaboration with the federation's strategic partners.
