AMAZING/ An Albanian club secures the group stage in Europe

Shkëndija and Drita have a real chance of making it to the group stage of a European competition this season. Both teams are in the second round of the Champions League, where they face Copenhagen and FCSB respectively.

If they are eliminated, they will be relegated to the Europa League and will face each other in the third round of this competition. The winner of this duel will advance to the Europa League play-offs and, if they fail to do so, will be assured of participation in the Conference League groups.

Thus, at least one of them will be in the group stage. This path guarantees the presence of at least one Albanian team in Europe.

Both have the chance to go further, but everything will depend on the results in the upcoming matches. In the best-case scenario, both could reach different groups.
