Partizani aims for qualification, concerns begin for coach Gega

Partizani drew 1-1 in the first match of the first round of the Conference League against Kalju in Estonia. A result that, although not a victory, maintains the balance and leaves open the possibilities for qualification in the return match to be played in Tirana. The match in Tallinn was a difficult test for the Albanian team, which, facing an opponent with more experience in the European arena, also faced internal difficulties that complicated its mission.

Keko's injury in the first half disrupted the technical staff's plans. The 23-year-old striker, who has improved significantly since the arrival of coach Gega, was forced to leave the field on a stretcher and in tears, making way for Elson Himallari.

Coach Skënder Gega was faced with the need to improvise, adapting the scheme based on the players available. It was a match that required a lot of sacrifice, both physically and tactically. Despite the difficulties, Partizan managed to avoid defeat on the away leg, closing the match with a result that keeps hopes of advancing to the next round alive.

For the return match in Tirana, the main focus of the staff will be on the full recovery of the players and managing the minutes efficiently. With the same group of players and in the absence of possible reinforcements due to roster restrictions, Partizani will look to take advantage of the home field factor and the support of the fans to advance further in Europe.
