Personal agreement reached, Gyokeres decides on the future

Arsenal have reached personal terms with Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres and are in advanced negotiations with Sporting over his transfer.

The 27-year-old striker has agreed a five-year contract with the London club and has expressed a clear desire to move to the Emirates.

Talks between the clubs are ongoing over the final transfer fee, with coach Arteta seeking an immediate deal. Gyokeres comes after a brilliant season at Sporting, where he scored 54 goals in 52 games.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have completed the signing of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad for a fee of €65 million. The Spanish midfielder has signed a five-year deal and is the club's second signing after goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
