Saudi Arabia "tempts" Xhaka, big contract for the midfielder

Granit Xhaka is ready to change teams after two successful seasons at Bayer Leverkusen. The 32-year-old midfielder is considering offers from Europe and the Middle East.

Milan and Juventus are two of the clubs that have shown concrete interest in him, looking to strengthen the midfield department.

However, Saudi club NEOM, a newcomer to the Arab football elite, have offered Xhaka a hefty contract. The club, which has already approached names such as Lacazette and Bulka, are looking to build their squad around him.

Christophe Galtier, the new coach of NEOM, sees Xhaka as the ideal leader of the midfield. The player's final decision is expected to be made within a few weeks.

Xhaka's future remains open between sporting ambitions and significant financial offers.
