The Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, has given a message about the health situation in the country due to the seasonal flu.

Through a status on social networks, Koçiu says that the seasonal flu requires increased awareness and care on the part of citizens as well.

She declares that the Pediatric Emergency is on standby, while emphasizing that citizens of risk groups can get the vaccinations at 31 health centers.

"The Pediatric Emergency Service at QSUNT these days, busy with seasonal flu cases, is working at full capacity and is ready for any pediatric emergency.

This evening I met with doctors and nurses who work in the pediatric service, but also with parents, with whom we talked about the situation of viruses and seasonal flu, which requires increased awareness and care on the part of citizens as well.

In order to face any situation and avoid queues, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection has put into operation 31 health centers with 24/7 service throughout the country, where citizens of risk groups can also get the flu vaccine as protection better and more efficient against respiratory viruses that are caused as a result of it.
