The head of the National Emergency, Skënder Brataj, spoke about the health situation in the country, as we are in the season of viruses.

Brataj said that there is no increase in the number of people affected by the flu compared to last year.

He stated that compared to 2021, there is a decrease in cases of infections.

"This is the second year that the flu is dominating. We are nearing its peak. This is also the case in other European and Western countries. The peak of the virus is expected to reach the end of January.

There is no increase with last season if we make a comparison. If we compare this year with 2021, we have a decrease in cases. In this month, the increase is in direct proportion to the flu, the cold", said the head of the Emergency.
