With summer reaching its peak temperatures, we often wonder why we feel extremely tired and lack energy even after a simple activity or even if we've had enough sleep.
The answer lies in the high temperatures and our body's natural reaction to them. But how do we effectively cope with summer fatigue?

Hydration is the most important step in fighting summer fatigue. Water is essential for all normal body functions, and in the summer the need for hydration increases due to sweating. Women should consume about 11.5 glasses of water per day and men 15.5 glasses, including fluids from food. Don't forget that coconut water or fruits with a high water content, such as watermelon and cantaloupe, can also increase our hydration.

Choose comfortable, cool clothes made from natural fabrics, such as cotton and linen, and prefer light-colored clothes that reflect heat. Avoid tight, dark clothes that trap heat and weigh down your body. Invest in clothes that can make your daily life better and you'll even see your mood change for the better.

The hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. are the hottest of the day. If we have to go out, we make sure to stay in the shade as much as possible and always use sunscreen. The necessary accessories are of course a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and light clothing to protect ourselves from excessive sunlight. In addition, it is important to take regular breaks in cool places.

Alcohol can raise our body temperature and disrupt our sleep, which will make us feel even more tired the next day. Therefore, to ensure a restful and refreshing sleep, we limit our alcohol consumption, especially at night.
