The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, spoke in a television appearance about the dismissal of Erion Veliaj and the elections in the Municipality of Tirana.
Bardhi has stated that consultations have begun within the party regarding the name that will represent the opposition in the local elections.
Further, the leader of the democratic group also focused on the dismissal of Veliaj, which he said was requested when he approached Rama.
" Our advisors have long demanded his dismissal, but Rama didn't want to, today he got it.
"We will see what happens because Veliaj has asked to take it to the Constitutional Court. We have started consultations within the party, after our chairman has declared that the race is not abandoned, but also on the name that would best represent the opposition in the race ," said Bardhi./ CNA
