The first EU-Western Balkans Investment Forum will take place on 13 and 14 October in Tirana. This forum brings together Western Balkan countries, European Union decision-makers, and investors and companies from around the world.
Meanwhile, according to the agenda, the forum will open today with speeches by Prime Minister Edi Rama and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Following their speeches, the signing of Letters of Intent (LOI) is expected, which precede future agreements in areas of mutual interest.
The discussions on the first day of the forum were conceived in two main panels: “Investment Opportunities in the Western Balkans 6 in the New Geopolitical Context” and “Investments in the Western Balkans 6 as a New Source of Competitiveness and Growth Potential.”
