A woman who spent £1,000 on a new smile was instead left with major skin concerns.
Lily Lindsay, from Aberdeenshire, was inspired to get veneers after watching influencers on TikTok.
But after their placement, the 29-year-old faced major problems with her skin, the Daily Mail reports .
She had rashes, itching and dry skin. Because of these problems, she went through a bad period psychologically, where she had to take anti-depressant drugs.
The dentist who performed the aesthetic intervention undertook to return the amount of money spent.
She removed the veneers and placed veneers with a different material.
