Singer Devis Xherahu shares memories: I broke a taboo, the first to sing in Albanian in the middle of Athens

Renowned singer Devis Xherahu seems to have become nostalgic, sharing some special memories from his artistic career.

Through a post on social media, Xherahu has published a video with one of his hit songs, such as "When You're Very Bored", a song he also sang on a television program in Greece.

Xherahu writes that he feels proud to have broken the taboo, becoming the first Albanian singer to perform in Albanian in the heart of the Greek capital.

 "I feel very proud that I broke the taboo, and this because until then Albanian had not been sung in Greece, in 2006 by performing in Albanian the song, "Kur të jesh gërztur þrum" on the super show 'Fame Story' on Ant 1 TV in the heart of Athens!!", - writes the singer. /CNA
