Within 16 hours, 3.5 million followers. This record was broken by the famous singer Beyonce.

After officially joining the "Tik-Tok" platform in December of last year, Beyonce has made her first post and only now she has collected a full 3.5 million followers.

The video the 40-year-old singer shared featured footage of fans dancing and singing along to her latest single 'Break My Soul'.

Beyonce released the song "Break My Soul" last month, while her new album "Renaissance" is expected to be released on July 29.

The singer, who has been married to rapper and businessman Jay-Z since 2008, made history last year when she became the female artist with the most Grammy awards. 

Throughout her career, she has won a total of 28 awards, leaving behind Alison Kraus who nominated 27 awards.
