Austrian media continue to report non-stop on the success of Fate Velaj's novel "Kreuztanne".

Following the ORF central TV, Ö1 Radio, and other newspapers, today, the Niederästerreichische Nachrichten newspaper has dedicated an article to it, under its headline, it reads:

"Ambassador Velaj's book promotion turned into an international meeting" and continues:

An evening full of emotions, literature and diplomacy: Albanian Ambassador Fate Velaj returned to promote his novel Kreuztanne in the place where he had once knocked for a new life in Austria.

The Kammgarn Hall in Traiskirchen was packed to the brim, with not a single empty seat. The municipality had invited them to a special event: Albanian Ambassador Fate Velaj returned to the place where his personal story in Austria began – to the refugee reception center in Traiskirchen.

Velaj, once an immigrant himself, read from his autobiographical novel “Kreuztanne.” The evening was opened by Mayor Sabrina Divoky and Austrian Vice Chancellor Andreas Babler, also Minister of Culture.

 

An evening of meetings and memories.

 

The reading turned into an international event: Ambassadors from 26 countries participated, so many nations at once, never before seen in the "Kammgarn" hall.

The evening took place in the spirit of culture, exchange of thoughts and ideas, and integration.

Fate Velaj is an impressive example of successful integration: from an immigrant and factory worker in Lower Austria, he became an internationally renowned artist and is today an ambassador for his country.

After the reading, Velaj took time for book signings and personal conversations with those in attendance. At the reception that followed, guests from all over the world took the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas.
