25 thousand euros are seized at the border

As a result of the maximum commitment of the services of the Border Police of PKK Kakavije, for the prevention and attack of border crimes, in addition to the work to provide a quality and ethical service to citizens entering/exiting, another case of non-declaration of money.

On the basis of the risk analysis, upon exiting the country, the citizen JK was checked in the second line, and 25,000 euros were found in his bag.

The amount of money, undeclared by this citizen in accordance with the law in force, was seized as material evidence.

Following the procedural actions for this case, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Local Directorate of Border and Migration Gjirokastër referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the citizen JK, 60 years old, resident in the village of Zagori. / CNA
