Interpol Abu Dhabi confirms the arrest of Durim Bami

Interpol Abu Dhabi has confirmed the arrest of Durim Bami, one of the characters of the underworld in Albania.

The arrest of Durim Bami, known as "Nikla's strongman", was reported yesterday by the Albanian media.

Durim Bami was declared wanted during the SPAK mega-operation. The Special Court has set the security measure of "imprisonment", as he is charged with a number of charges.

The 45-year-old is accused of several serious criminal offences, such as providing conditions and material means to commit murder, organized criminal group, cultivation of narcotic plants and committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or organized criminal group.

According to the SPAK file, Durim Bami is accused of having provided the conditions to kill Arben Ndoka, Tori Xhe?uka and Erigers Mihas, as well as being involved in the cultivation of cannabis in Nikla's Tapestry.

On the other hand, according to the file of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Durim and Valter Bami were pursued by 16 other people who wanted to kill them./ CNA
