Wanted by Italy/ Most wanted captured, part of a criminal group

The Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Criminal Police Department of the DPPSh finalized the police operation coded "Operationalja 16".

As a result of the information provided by the police intelligence and exchanged with the partners in Italy, within the police operational plan coded "Before justice", on the location of an Albanian citizen, declared internationally wanted, on behalf of Italy, the Directorate of The Special Operational Force, during the coded police operation "Operational 16", caught in Kavajë and put in handcuffs the citizen VT, 26 years old, born in Kavajë.

In 2023, the Court of Bologna assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", carried out in the framework of the criminal organization.

Cooperation continues between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, to extradite this citizen to Italy./ CNA
