The much-wanted justice, Ismail Zeneli, is extradited from Spain. This citizen is accused by SPAK of being involved in a criminal group as well as for the criminal offenses of "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder", "Trafficking of narcotic substances", committed as a special form of cooperation, that of the group structured criminal" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organization and structured criminal group".

"Operations for the capture and extradition of citizens announced as international wanted continue intensively.

During the last 24 hours, Interpol Tirana finalized 2 extradition operations, from Spain and France.

The extradition of the Albanian citizen IZ alias LS, 50 years old, born in Kukës, was carried out from Spain to our country.

This citizen was declared an international wanted by the Interpol Directorate, after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Ensuring conditions and means materials to commit murder", "Trafficking of narcotic substances", carried out in the special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group".

Summary of the event:

SPAK has registered a proceeding in 2023 and within this proceeding, in cooperation with Eurojust and Europol, as well as with the Belgian, French, Dutch, German, Brazilian and Colombian law enforcement agencies, they have conducted investigations regarding some Albanian citizens involved in the activity criminal in Albania, South America and some European countries. Also, the investigations were carried out in relation to some previous criminal events that happened in Albania. It is suspected that citizen IZ alias LS coordinated with his associates and gave information on the location of citizens AN and EN, with the intention of murder. Furthermore, it is suspected that this citizen has coordinated with his associates, for the trafficking of narcotics from South American countries to the main European ports, especially in Valencia, Spain.

As a result of the cooperation of the Interpol Directorate, with Interpol Madrid, it became possible to arrest him in Spain, being finalized with his extradition to our country," the police announced./ CNA
