Another case of prostitution is struck, 2 people are arrested, 5 Chinese

The Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, within the framework of a criminal proceeding in August of this year, has finalized the coded police operation "Red Light 3".

During the operation, citizens AW, 45 years old, Zh. Y., 30 years old, for the criminal offenses "Adult Trafficking", "Exploitation of Prostitution" and "Maintaining Prostitution Premises", committed in collaboration, provided for by Articles 110/a, 114 and 115 and 25 of the Criminal Code .

In addition, 5 Chinese citizens were prosecuted for the criminal offense of "Prostitution", provided for by Article 113 of the Criminal Code, as well as for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of crime", citizen GL, 62 years old, resident in Tirana.

From the investigative actions carried out in the framework of the proceedings, it was found that the citizens AW and Zh. Y., in cooperation with each other, have brought to Albania, 5 foreign citizens, who were promised that they would employ them in massage centers in Albania. After these citizens arrived in our country, the two arrested used them for prostitution in rented premises (apartments).

From the investigative actions, it was legally documented that the suspected perpetrators advertised on online sites, citizens who used them for prostitution, found clients, waited for them at the entrance of the building where prostitution was practiced and after making payments ranging from 200-300 euros, they sent clients to the apartment.
