The Durrës police have arrested five people and the arrest of two others continues, who, in cooperation with each other, alienated the documents of a land with an area of ??151,000 m2, in neighborhood no. 15 of the city.

The former director of the Cadastre, LK, 35 years old, and 4 other people were captured by the police.

Police Notification:

The operation was carried out by the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction.

The security measure "Arrest in prison" is executed for 5 citizens and the work continues for the capture of 2 other citizens, who in cooperation with each other have alienated the documents of a land with an area of ??151 000 m2, in the neighborhood no. 15, Durres.

The security measure "Compulsion to appear before the Judicial Police" is implemented for 9 other citizens.

A preventive seizure is imposed on the real estate with an area of ??151,000 m2, which is suspected to have benefited from 2 citizens (one arrested and the father of another arrested).

As a result of an investigation carried out by specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of the DVP Durrës, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, within the framework of a criminal proceeding registered in February 2023 , in this Prosecutor's Office, the coded police operation "Alienation" was organized and finalized.

During this operation, the security measure "Arrest in prison", assigned by the Court of Durrës, was executed for the citizens:

L. Xh., 58 years old and DT, 61 years old, both residents of Durrës, for the criminal offenses "Fraud" and "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity";

AK, 33 years old and Gj. N., 44 years old, both residents of Durrës, for the criminal offense of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity";

LK, 35 years old, resident of Durrës, former director of ASHK Durrës, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty.

Following the procedural actions, the following citizens were declared wanted:

MZ, 46 years old, resident of Durrës, former lawyer of ASHK Durrës, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty";

KK, 65 years old, resident of Durrës, "Fraud" and "Cleaning of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity".

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, have alienated the documents of a real estate (land), with an area of ??151,000 m2, in district no. 15, Durrës.

From the alienation of the documents, the arrested citizen L. Xh. has benefited illegally, a land area of ??about 75,000 m2, while the citizen DT (the father of the 61-year-old arrested) has benefited from a land area of ??76,000 m2. Citizens LK, MZ and AK are suspected to have facilitated the alienation of real estate by abusing their duties at ASHK Durrës.

In the framework of this criminal proceeding, the security measure "Compulsion to appear before the Judicial Police" was executed for the offense "Acquisition of products or goods derived from criminal activity", for citizens:

M. Xh., 55 years old, K. Xh., 34 years old, E. T., 63 years old, KT, 58 years old, Sh. T., 66 years old, Sh. V., 68 years old, BB, 59 years old, O. Xh., 46 years old and AK, 47 years old (former lawyer of ASHK Durrës), all residents of Durrës.

Also, within the framework of this criminal proceeding, a preventive seizure has been imposed on the real estate with an area of ??151,000 m2, in neighborhood no. 15, Durres.
