Vala e të nxehtit po vazhdon në Evropën Jugore, ndërsa temperaturat në Mesdheun qendror pritet të arrijnë kulmin gjatë ditës së sotme.

Ishulli italian i Sardenjës pritet të ketë një temperaturë maksimale prej 46 gradë Celsius këtë pasdite dhe ka paralajmërime se nxehtësia ekstreme mund të vazhdojë edhe për 10 ditë të tjera në pjesë të Italisë. Në kryeqytetin e Italisë, në Romë, temperaturat mund të qëndrojnë mbi 40 gradë celsius për 15 ditë.

Spanja është përballur edhe me valë të njëpasnjëshme të të nxehtit, ku temperaturat dje kanë arritur në 44 gradë Celsius në jug të vendit.
