White House: Biden meets with the Chinese president on Monday

The US President, Joe Biden, will meet on Monday with the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit, which is held next week in Bali, Indonesia.

This face-to-face meeting that comes amid increasingly tense US-China relations, the White House announced today.

This will be the first physical meeting between the leaders of the world's two largest economies since Biden became president in January 2021.
