Two people lost their lives and three others were injured on Thursday morning in the town of Cetinje, about 40 kilometers from the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica.

According to the Montenegrin police, an explosion occurred near the city's Sports Center. The two victims are: Petar Kalugjerovi? and Dragan Roganovi?, suspected members of the "Shkalar" criminal clan.

The police say that the two injured are members of the same criminal group, while the third injured is an elderly woman from Cetinje, who was passing by the scene at the time of the explosion.

Experts say that the war between criminal groups in Montenegro is one of the fiercest in the region, while the clash between rival mafia groups "Shkalari" and "Kavaç" has caused dozens of victims not only in Montenegro, but also in Europe, including Austria. and Greece.

Local police believe that Montenegrin groups, with the help of Serbian ones, have taken over drug trafficking from South America, becoming major players in organized crime in Europe.
