Over 100 people were injured as two trains collided with each other in Slovakia.
About 800 people were on board when the plane crashed about 19 kilometers north of the capital Bratislava.
About 79 people were rushed to hospital after the accident, according to the Slovak Emergency Medical Service Operations Center. Another 60 were treated for other minor injuries, local media outlet Pravda reported.
Three of them were in serious condition with injuries to the chest and abdomen.
A spokesman for Bratislava University Hospital said the range of injuries ranged from minor ones, such as scratches, to serious ones requiring surgical intervention.
More than 60 police officers and 70 firefighters arrived at the scene.
The two trains involved were the Tatra express between Kosice and Bratislava and a regional express train between Nitra and the capital./CNA
